Welcome to my home page! I am a computational social scientist and CIRTA Impact+ Postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University. I research online misinformation, a central challenge for digital democracy, using large language models, machine learning, and network science to detect emerging misinformation trends as they spread across online platforms. Previously, I was a Lecturer in the School of Computing at Binghamton University and a Visiting Lecturer in Systems Engineering at Cornell University. I received my Ph.D. in Systems Science from Binghamton University (2023), advised by Prof. Hiroki Sayama. My dissertation developed a framework for measuring the emergence and impact of eccentric opinions in society. Research interests: online misinformation, opinion dynamics, polarization and controversiality, recommender systems, agent-based modeling, network science, natural language processing. ⚠ This page is always UNDER CONSTRUCTION ⚠
